Founded in 1991, the Pediatric Cancer Foundation exists to raise money to fund pediatric cancer research. Our focus is to fund research which will lead to the elimination of pediatric cancer worldwide. In addition to funding valuable seed grants throughout the state of Florida, the Pediatric Cancer Foundation has developed The Sunshine Project. This is an innovative collaboration of the nation’s top doctors and researchers with one goal: to fast-track new treatments and increase the survival rate of children battling cancer. Since 2005, we have implemented the groundwork necessary to introduce less toxic, more targeted drugs into clinical trials. New compounds are currently being tested in these trials and hold great promise for children who have not experienced positive results under the standard treatment protocol.

The No Kid Hungry campaign connects kids in need with nutritious food and teaches their families how to cook healthy, affordable meals. The campaign also engages the public to make ending child hunger a national priority.

We’re working to end child hunger in America by connecting kids to effective nutrition programs like school breakfast and summer meals. This work is accomplished through the No Kid Hungry network, made up of private citizens, government officials, business leaders, and others providing innovative hunger solutions in their communities. These partners work together, implementing solutions that break down the barriers that keep kids from healthy food.

Through its Cooking Matters program, the No Kid Hungry campaign educates and empowers low-income families to stretch their food budgets so their kids get healthy meals at home. Cooking Matters participants learn to shop strategically, use nutrition information to make healthier food choices, and cook delicious, affordable meals.

The No Kid Hungry campaign works to shine a national spotlight on the crisis of child hunger in America, creating a powerful movement of individuals committed to bold action. We build partnerships that enlist influential individuals in the cause and advocate policy changes needed to achieve our goals.

Our mission is to Rescue One by One Until There are None. Through this mission we rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome orphaned pets. We provide a loving, and nurturing environment for all the animals in our care. We are committed to helping each individual pet find his or her perfect companion.

We are dedicated to being a true no-kill rescue. This means we will only euthanize for terminal illness or irreversible suffering. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can, while also providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care. We are a team of experienced and compassionate people that are willing to go above and beyond to ensure our success. Our focus is on rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of dogs and cats.

We rescue from our community, New York City, the Southern United States as well as the Cayman Islands.

We will offer a variety of programs and services to the community to make pet ownership easier and more affordable for the public. Our education programs are incredibly important for the community and will help pave the future of animal rescue. The wide variety of services and programs we will offer the community will set us apart and allow us to truly make a difference.

We are located out of Westchester county, NY and service the surrounding counties and communities. We have just received news of the property at 100 Warehouse Lane South in Elmsford being gifted to Paws Crossed! We anticipate this property transfer to occur in late January. We are overjoyed to be given the opportunity to bring a true no-kill rescue back to Westchester County!
